FSA DeKalb – Give DeKalb – Social Media Campaign

The Give DeKalb campaign for the Family Services Agency of Dekalb, Illinois was a fundraising initiative designed to raise awareness about the agency’s work and encourage donations from the community. As their social media strategist, I had the privilege of working on this project from start to finish.

Creating an effective social media strategy was key to the success of this campaign. By leveraging multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, we were able to reach a wider audience and encourage engagement around the campaign.

Some of the key elements of this project include:

  • Developing a comprehensive social media strategy that included custom graphics that effectively communicated the agency’s mission and goals.
  • Collaborating with the Family Services Agency team to create a campaign that resonated with their audience and aligned with their overall messaging and branding.
  • Leveraging social media analytics to monitor and adjust the campaign strategy, ensuring maximum impact and engagement from the community.
  • Encouraging community members to get involved by sharing their own stories and experiences, and creating a sense of community around the campaign.

Throughout the campaign, we saw an increase in engagement, including likes, comments, shares, and page views. The campaign successfully raised awareness about the agency’s vital work and encouraged donations from the community.

Incorporating the Give DeKalb Social Media Campaign for Family Services Agency into my portfolio highlights my ability to create effective social media campaigns that drive engagement and support important causes. It showcases my skills in social media strategy development, content creation, graphic design, and campaign coordination. I am proud of the impact that this campaign has had, and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such an important cause.
