Two Apples – Graphite – 5×7″

The Two Apples drawing project was a unique and exciting opportunity for me to showcase my skills in traditional art media. The project involved creating a drawing of two apples using graphite on watercolor paper.

The primary objective of this project was to create a visually stunning and detailed representation of two apples that conveyed their shape, texture, and form. The drawing measures just 5×7″ which presented a challenge in terms of capturing the intricate details and textures of the subject matter.

Some of the key elements of this project include:

  • Selecting the right materials, including high-quality graphite pencils and watercolor paper, to ensure a vibrant and durable final product.
  • Utilizing various techniques, including shading and blending of graphite, to create a sense of depth and dimensionality in the drawing.
  • Ensuring that the overall composition was balanced and aesthetically pleasing, with careful attention paid to the placement of the subject matter on the paper.

Incorporating the Two Apples drawing project into my portfolio highlights my ability to create captivating and realistic traditional art pieces that showcase my skills in shading, texture, and composition. It showcases my passion for art and my commitment to producing high-quality work that meets or exceeds client expectations.
